Nicole Woodcox Bolden
My name is Nicole Woodcox Bolden and I have over 15 years of experience working with young people and adults, locally and abroad, who have experienced trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and who just need a non-judgmental person to assist in processing stressful situations.
A bit about my approach to therapy
Self-compassion is always a theme included in all my techniques used. My experiences locally and abroad have exposed me to quite a variety of life situations. Therefore, I can truly make a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can journey together to uncover your pathway to peace & healing. I thank you for taking the time to consider inviting me on your journey.
What you can expect from our first session
People who work with me learn quickly how find small pauses in the day to be more attuned to their self talk and basic needs like eating and other bodily functions. I make these things a priority in our work because we typically have our own answers to solving whatever is presenting as a problem, but many of us have forgotten how to trust ourselves.

Giorgio Chatelain
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families in various settings. My theoretical orientation is eclectic, focusing on psychodynamic, structural family therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, mindfulness and strength-based approaches. I tend to focus on your thought patterns and emotions and will help you to better identify and trust your instincts.
I make it my priority to understand how racial identity impacts how we experience the world. And while not every facet of our racial identity and experience can be easily articulated, everyone should have the freedom to be themselves.
My main goal is to aid you in self-discovery, symptom reduction, and learning better means of coping and living. My intention and commitment to you is to help summon your emotional, mental, and spiritual strengths in an effort to begin the process of healing and moving forward.

I’m so glad you made the bold first step to learn more about therapy. Over the years, counseling has received a negative connotation. However, counseling is simply about discovering techniques to help you accomplish your goals and live a more fulfilling life. My passion is helping people overcome situations that are making them feel anxious, stressed or overwhelmed. During our first session, I will actively listen to you tell your story and describe the areas that you would like to improve. Then, I will explain the treatment options that I believe may be beneficial for you. Together, we will decide what you would like to focus on and how we can best achieve your goals.
I have worked with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing symptoms from a broad range of mental health concerns such as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am trained to use a treatment called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps to decrease flashbacks and nightmares for children, teens and adults who have experienced trauma. I also use play therapy, sand tray, expressive arts therapy, solutions focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help people have a well-rounded experience that meets their individual needs.
